CH. WINDSONG SPICY MEGAN, C.D.X.
March 30, 1995 - April 20, 2009
(CH. Centara Canicula Derondo x CH. Carabella's Joy, C.D.X.)
Megan was my first home bred champion, my first Best in Specialty
Sweeps Winner, and my first Standard Schnauzer Club of America
Leading Producer. She was the mother and grandmother of champions
and obedience titleholders. Megan was always breeder/owner handled
in all her activities: What we had, we earned together.
She finished her championship with a Best in Specialty Sweeps,
and four majors. She was always Best of Winners, and was Best
of Opposite over Specials twice.
She finished her C.D.X. with two Group placements and was
noted in Front&Finish after earning her C.D.X. with a score
of 95 & 1/2 and a Group 3 placement at a large obedience trial.
Most important of all, she was my devoted and loyal companion.
Since she was little, her motto was, "Always be in
the parade, and if you can, lead it!"
For fourteen years, Megan led the parade.
Dogs are not given to writing Wills or leaving bequests, but
they live on in their titles, their offspring, and especially
in the memories of those they loved and who have loved them. So
much like her beloved mother, CH. Carabella's Joy, C.D.X., Megan
will be forever my "Joy Puppy."
